Eco Friendly Schools Project
Think – Act – Do

A school is the anchor of the community. A learning community where we have also the responsibility to guide students on their learning path to become social and responsible global citizens in the 21st century in a world that faces many challenges. Challenges that are not the sole responsibilities of governments, yet also a responsibility of each and every one of us.

If we can teach students about sustainability, and build the bridge to their personal behavior, that's the highest praise we could possibly hope for. The Eco Friendly Schools Project is created to offer schools, teachers and students a unique opportunity that allows them to address global challenges into concrete activities. The experience that a change in my behavior will have a positive impact on our planet is critical success  factor that will impact the participants for a lifetime.

In the academic year 2010-2011 we invite 12 classes to learn and work together and show that changes with an impact on behavior can be realized. Realistic, quality learning, cross curricular, measurable and success are keywords in the Eco Friendly Schools Project. iEARN and the Global Teenager Project offer a safe and global network and are ready to facilitate the Eco Friendly Schools Project.
The results will be presented in July 2011 at the iEARN World conference, where based upon the concrete results, a scale up and template for growth will be shared.
