Update of the Learning Circl

The updated overview of the Learning Circle as of April 24th has been posted . First of all I would like to thank for those LC participants who posted their summaries.

Very special was for Bob to visit the participating classes in Redstone Public School in Richmon Hill.

Have a look at the photo's; I'm sure the students will write about there EDO-Art work in the summary.

Agenda for the week
We are in the semi-last week of the Summarizing phase. This phase  is meant to organise, summarise and reflect on the information received. The sponsors of a question are the ones who create the Summary which will be all on one page for all schools to enjoy.
The students who sponsor a question are responsible for using the information received and make comparisons across the different regions, for collecting and for editing the material. This process will help them to learn how to review, summarise, evaluate and present information.
A general format for reviewing the responses might be to address the following questions:
  • Why did we ask the qestion?
  • What did we know about the theme when we started?
  • What did we learn in our classroom?
  • What did we expect to learn?
  • What did we learn from the responses of the students?
  • What was similar or different in the research answers received from the Learning Circle partners? Why do we think these differences exist?

Go to the Summaries Page and post your Summary in the page with your school name.

The next LC News will be posted on Sunday May 8th.
